Ready-made flow · Gentle get-well cards with comforting art
Get Well Card Maker
Idyllic's get well card maker designs three gentle cards from a name and a few things the person loves. An AI writer plans comforting artwork around their cats, their garden or their favorite films and writes a kind, quiet message; Seedream 5 paints each card; and Idyllic sets the greeting, the message and your sign-off in editable type on a 5×7 card.

How to make it
Four steps, about a minute of your time. These are real screens from the run above.

It writes and paints
The AI writer plans comforting artwork around the things they love and writes a short greeting with their name plus a kind line about rest and being thought of. Seedream 5 paints each card with soft light and calm space for the words, then Idyllic sets the type. Preview the flow free first.
- 03
Pick the kindest one
The three cards sit side by side, with the paintings on their own too, so you can choose the one that feels right for them.
- 04
Edit and send
Open one in Canvas, change Get Well Soon to Thinking of You if that fits better, add a family photo or rewrite the message, then download a 1500×2100 PNG to print or send.
Why it beats
a template
Gentle by design
Messages are written to leave out the illness, treatments and outcomes, with no promises about recovery. They talk about rest, comfort and being thought of.
Comfort, not hospitals
The artwork stays away from hospitals and medicine. Think her two cats on a sunny windowsill, a cozy blanket and tea, a garden in soft morning light.
Get Well Soon or Thinking of You
The greeting uses their name exactly as you typed it. When “soon” isn't the right word, Thinking of You is one click away.
Five tones
Warm and Gentle for most cards, Cheerful to brighten a long week, Funny for the friend who'd rather laugh, Cute for kids.
Every word stays editable
The greeting, message and sign-off are real type in Canvas. Change a word, choose from 144 fonts, add a soft shadow.
There today, even from far away
Send the PNG by text or email the moment you hear, or print the 5×7 to bring along or mail.
What to write in a get well card
- Keep it short and warm. A few kind words mean more than a long letter.
- Skip questions about the diagnosis and leave out medical advice.
- If recovery is uncertain, “Thinking of you” is kinder than “Get well soon”.
- Offer something specific: a meal on Thursday, walking the dog, a ride.
- Mention something they love or have to look forward to.
- Add “No need to reply”, so the card asks nothing of them.

Questions
How do I create a get well card with Idyllic?
Type their name, list a few things they love and pick a tone. The flow designs three cards with comforting art around those things and a kind message with their name, all editable in Canvas.
Is the get well card maker free?
You can preview the whole flow free, with real AI writing and sample images. Running it for real is on Plus ($10.50/mo, billed yearly) and up, and uses 27 credits for 3 cards. The free plan also includes 3 free images a day in the image studio.
Can I print the cards I create?
Yes. Download the 1500×2100 PNG, a 5×7 card at 300 ppi, and print it at 100% on card stock. It fits an A7 envelope. Or send the same file by text or email.
Can I use my own photos in the card?
Yes. Upload a photo in Canvas, like the two of you or their dog, and place it on the card. The type stays editable around it.
What should I avoid saying in a get well card?
Questions about the illness, medical advice and promises about how things will turn out. The writer is set up to avoid all three and keep to warmth, rest and being thought of.
Can the whole office sign one card?
Yes. Put the team name in From, so it reads like Love, the Design Team, then print a folded card and pass it around for everyone to sign inside.
Is Idyllic suitable for beginners?
Yes. A name and a few things they love are enough. The AI writer plans the artwork and the words, and you only change what you want to.
