How to make it

Four steps, about a minute of your time. These are real screens from the run above.

  1. 01

Say what the project is about

Type the project topic, like 'The Water Cycle'. Add the subject if you want it named (otherwise it is picked from the topic), then your details: name, class, teacher and school. Choose an illustration style (Clean, Playful, Watercolor, Realistic, Hand-drawn or Bold) and the number of designs.

  2. 02

    Watch it get designed

The AI writer sets the subject, the topic in title case and your Name, Class and Submitted to lines, and plans a different illustration of the topic for each cover. Seedream 5 draws each one, then Idyllic lays it out on an A4 page. Preview the plan free first.

    Pick your cover

The covers appear side by side, next to the illustrations on their own, so you can compare the pictures with the type in place.

Why it beats
a template

01

An illustration of your actual topic

Not a generic border. Each cover gets a clear, age-appropriate picture of the topic itself: the water cycle, a volcano, the Roman Forum, a plant cell.

02

The front-page details, already set

Subject, topic, name, class, teacher and school are laid out the way teachers expect. Leave a detail out and you get a blank line to fill in by hand.

03

Six illustration styles

Clean, Playful, Watercolor, Realistic, Hand-drawn and Bold, from a fourth-grade poster project to a high school lab report.

04

Sized for A4, prints on Letter

Covers are A4 portrait. The Large export is 2480×3508 px, sharp at 300 ppi, and the page also prints on US Letter at fit to page.

05

Edit every layer

Canvas has 144 fonts and text effects. Change the topic, recolor the accent bar, or select part of the picture and describe what should be there instead.

What to put on a project cover page

  • The project title, big enough to read from across the classroom.
  • The subject, so it lands in the right pile.
  • Your full name, class or grade, and your teacher's name.
  • The school name and the year at the bottom.
  • One picture that shows the topic. One clear image reads better than a collage.
  • Check your teacher's rules first: some want a plain cover or a set layout.

Questions

What should I include in a project cover prompt?

The topic is all you need. Add the subject, your name, class, teacher and school to have them printed, and pick an illustration style. Anything you leave out becomes a blank line to fill in by hand.

Is the project cover page maker free?

You can preview the whole flow free, with real AI writing and sample images. Running it for real is on Plus ($10.50 a month, billed yearly) and uses 27 credits for 3 covers. The free plan also includes 3 free images a day in the image studio.

What size is a project cover page?

The same size as the pages behind it: A4 (210×297 mm) in most countries, US Letter (8.5×11 in) in the US and Canada. Idyllic designs at A4, 1240×1754 px, with a Large export at 2480×3508 px for a sharp 300 ppi print. On Letter, print at fit to page.

What should a project cover page include?

The project title, the subject, your name, class and teacher, and the school and year. A picture of the topic helps it stand out on the teacher's desk.

Can I make covers in different languages?

Yes. Write the topic and your details in the language you want on the cover; the AI writer works in any language and keeps your details as written. For alphabets other than Latin, check the lettering in Canvas before you print.

Is it only for school work?

It is built for school projects, but it works for any report that needs a front page: a portfolio, a club report or a business report. Change the Name, Class and Submitted to lines in Canvas to whatever your cover needs.

Will the illustration be accurate?

The image model is asked for an accurate, age-appropriate picture of the topic with no text in it. Still, look closely at things like cells, circuits or maps; if a detail is off, select it in Canvas and describe the fix.
