Width, color and pattern: '20 mm navy strap, white logo repeating, event name in between'. Mention a woven, printed or satin look.

Choose a clip, like a lobster claw, J-hook or breakaway, and a badge holder. Ask for a front view or an on-person mockup.

Design tips for a strap that reads

Keep text short: a strap is narrow, so 1 to 3 words per repeat.
Use high contrast between strap and print, like white on navy.
Repeat the logo often enough to be seen from any angle.
Keep the area near the clip plain.

No. Idyllic designs the strap artwork and creates realistic mockups. Once you're happy with the design, send it to a lanyard printer to produce it.

Is the lanyard designer free?

Yes. You can create 3 free images a day with no credit card. Paid plans start at $10.50 a month, billed yearly, and add a commercial license and private mode.

Can I use my company logo?

Yes. Add your logo with Remix and describe how it should repeat on the strap. Check the final colors and spelling against your brand guide before printing.

What lanyard width should I design for?

Common widths run from about 10 to 25 mm, and 15 to 20 mm suits most logos and short text. Tell Idyllic the width so the mockup shows realistic proportions.

Can I show the lanyard with a badge attached?

Yes. Describe the badge holder and card, like a clear sleeve with a name badge, a student ID or a laminated pass, and ask for a front view or a worn-on-person shot.

Can I keep my mockups private?

Free creations appear in the public gallery. For an unannounced event or client work, a paid plan adds private mode.
