How to make it

Four steps, about a minute of your time. These are real screens from the run above.

  1. 01

    Type your name and details

Enter 'Your name' exactly as it should print, then 'Title, company and contact details': your role, company, email, phone and website. Pick a style (Minimal, Bold, Luxury, Playful, Tech or Organic) and up to four designs.

  2. 02

    Watch the cards get made

The AI writer sets your name, title, company and up to four contact lines exactly as given, and plans a different art direction for each card: geometric shapes, texture, gradient or line pattern. Recraft V4.1 paints each art panel, then Idyllic sets the type. Preview the plan free first.

  3. 03

    Compare the designs

Every card appears finished, side by side, next to its art panel on its own, so you can judge the art and the type together.

    Edit and download

Open one in Canvas to change any word, font, effect or color, or add your logo. Export a PNG: Standard is 1050×600 px (3.5×2 in at 300 ppi), Large is 2100×1200 for extra-sharp print.

Why it beats
a template

01

A whole card, not a blank layout

Most business card templates hand you placeholder text to replace. Here your name, title, company and contact lines are already set in real type beside a custom art panel, on a card sized to print at 3.5×2 in.

02

Nothing made up

The AI writer uses your name and contact details exactly as you typed them, at most four contact lines, and leaves a line off rather than inventing one.

03

Art made for your card

Each design gets its own abstract panel from Recraft V4.1 in the style you picked, so your card does not look like everyone else's.

04

Edit every layer

Canvas has 144 fonts, text effects and shapes. Change the accent color, move the divider, or upload your logo or a QR code as a new layer and remove its background there.

05

Sized for the print shop

The Standard export is exactly 3.5×2 in at 300 ppi, the US standard. The Large export doubles it to 2100×1200 px for crisper small type.

What makes a business card work

  • Lead with your name, then your title. Everything else can be smaller.
  • Keep only the contact lines people use, usually email, phone and website.
  • Keep text at least 1/8 in inside the edge so trimming never clips it.
  • One accent color is enough. Match it to your logo.
  • Print a test sheet at 100% scale and read it at arm's length before you order.
  • Order a small run first, then reorder once the details are final.

The Idyllic card is the trim size with no bleed, and its background runs to the edge. Ask your printer whether they need bleed added. The flow designs the front; leave the back plain or add your logo.

Questions

Are these business card templates free?

You can preview the whole flow free: real AI writing with sample images, so you can check the plan. Running it for real is on Plus ($10.50 a month, billed yearly) and uses 27 credits for three cards. The free plan also includes 3 free images a day in the image studio.

What size is a business card?

In the US, 3.5×2 in. At 300 ppi that is 1050×600 px, exactly the size Idyllic designs at, and the Large export doubles it to 2100×1200. Much of Europe uses 85×55 mm.

What should a business card include?

Your name, your title, the company, and the two or three ways people should reach you, usually email, phone and website. Add a social handle or an address only if people will use it.

Will the AI change my contact details?

No. It sets your name and up to four contact lines exactly as you typed them and leaves off anything you did not give. Proofread every digit before you print anyway.

What resolution are the business cards?

The Standard export is 1050×600 px, 300 ppi at 3.5×2 in, which is what most printers ask for. The Large export is 2100×1200 px, 600 ppi at the same size.

Can I print the cards at a print shop?

Yes. Upload the PNG to your printer at 3.5×2 in. Many shops ask for a 1/8 in bleed, so check how yours handles a file without one; keep text 1/8 in inside the edge either way.

Can I add my logo or a QR code?

Yes. Upload either as a new layer in Canvas, remove the logo's background there if it needs it, and move it where you want.

Can I make the back of the card?

The flow designs the front. For a matching back, start a blank Canvas design, set the size to Business card and add your logo, or describe it to the Agent.
